Course Description
Under the principle of Good Governance Agenda, public values and public interests are integrated into policymaking and public services delivery. This course provides candidates with an understanding of the principles of ethical considerations of public affairs and public policy, like ageism, feminism and sustainability. Researchers and senior civil servants are invited to demonstrate the concerns of ethics on various public affairs.
Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: Identify key points of the related concepts of public affairs and the importance of research ethics.
CILO-2: Discuss the key issues of theories and practice in public affairs.
CILO-3: Categorize the skills of identifying, conceptualizing real problems in public administration practice and delivering a research in accordance with the principle of research ethics.
CILO-4: Apply the various philosophical ideas of ethics to the analysis and operation of contemporary public administration.
