Course Description
This course introduces students to the study of criminal law. The major topics of
study include the elements of criminal law, the purposes of criminal law, the basic
judicial concepts of criminal responsibility, the practices of criminal law and other
important issues in criminal law.
Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: Describe the content, principles and rules of Macao’s Criminal Law.
CILO-2: Identify the basic forms and consequences of crime.
CILO-3: Discuss the basic concepts and application of punishment in Criminal Law.
