Course Description
This course provides an overview of the current strategies and practices of crime prevention and control. Under the premise of explicating the basic ideas, basic theories, the subject and object, and operating mechanism of crime prevention and control, this course teaches special topics (including public security order management, emergency management, public security maintaining in important infrastructure, key areas and cyberspace, and so on) combined with practical cases.
Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: Describe the basic ideas, contents, and theories related to crime prevention and control.
CILO-2: Identify the main types and characteristics of emergencies.
CILO-3: Identify major public security issues and countermeasures in cyberspace.
