This course systematically describes the science, scientific research, academic paper topic selection, scientific research methods and application, features, and science research paper writing. The highlight of the course is the topic selection methods and skills of police science research with information technology.

CILO-1: Identify the definition and characteristics of science and scientific research. CILO-2: Describe ways and steps to select the scientific research topic. CILO-3: Identify and demonstrate normal and modern scientific research methods that are most appropriate to a particular research project.
