This course covers the spatial aspects of Macao’s rapid-pace development, including the built and natural environment. It also deals with a range of current local and cross-border issues. Focusing on several districts, the course explore the characteristics of various urban space and cityscapes of Macao.

CILO-1: Identify the major characteristics of the urban space in Macao. CILO-2: Describe Macao's major infrastructures in relation to urban planning. CILO-3: Discuss critically the spatial issues of Macao. CILO-4: Discuss the urban geography of Macao in comparison to other cities.
