This course adopts a 'problem-based' approach to introduce contemporary issues about Macao from four major perspectives: politics, economy, culture and society.

CILO-1: Identify the major issues from politics, economy, culture and society perspectives in today's Macao. CILO-2: Explain the relationship between those issues and the gaming industry of Macao. CILO-3: Summarize the major development of the institutional principle of "one country, two systems", and discuss its implication on Macao’s international economic relations, and integration with mainland China.
