In this course, students will engage with classical and/or contemporary readings of primary sources for exploration of various topics related to sociology and sociological research. The readings will vary from year to year depending on the needs for advanced study of sociology.

CILO-1: Identify critical issues covered in the special topics course. CILO-2: Identify the link between the special topics and the general issues of sociology/criminology. CILO-3: Discuss the importance of these topics in sociological/criminological research.
