Course Description
The course is designed to help students to master advanced quantitative methods used in the social sciences, and to facilitate them learning more advanced methods. The main topics that will be covered in depth during this semester include ANOVA, simple and multiple regression, logistic regression, and Poisson regression. Pre-requisite: None
Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: Identify advanced quantitative methods used in the social sciences.
CILO-2: Apply advanced quantitative methods in criminological research, including generalized linear model, linear and non-linear mixed models and longitudinal models.
CILO-3: Discuss and evaluate appropriate statistical models in conducting statistical analysis using the advanced quantitative methods.
