Course Description
This course provides an overview of the nature and extent of crime, the causes of criminal behavior, crime typologies and measurements, and the criminal justice system. The course takes an international approach, reviewing knowledge and theories about crime and assessing the effectiveness of crime prevention and offender treatment programs in major social and cultural contexts. Pre-requisite: None
