This advanced course will provide in-depth coverage on a specialized content area related to clinical psychology and mental health. Students will gain knowledge about associated theory, research, current assessment and intervention approaches as well as information on relevance to practice within the context of Macao. Topics will vary depending on staff expertise and availability.

CILO-1: Describe the nature of the field or phenomena under study including key concepts and current controversies. CILO-2: Describe major research approaches and findings in relation to the field or phenomena of focus. CILO-3: Describe and develop critically evaluate theory and empirical research associated with the field or phenomena of focus. CILO-4: Apply knowledge and skills related to assessment and intervention with respect to the field or phenomena under investigation.
