Course Description
In this course, students examine theories of human development across the life cycle of the individual from birth to death, in different domains including physical, cognitive, and social and personality. Research methods for studying developmental processes, as well as various issues related to the processes and challenges of developmental transitions in different life periods within a local context are discussed.
Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: Describe the human development trajectories in physical, cognitive, and psychosocial domains.
CILO-2: Describe and apply different psychological theories to explaining individual commonalities and differences in human development.
CILO-3: Elucidate insights of the complexity of internal and external factors in affecting an individual’s development and adjustment to life.
