Course Description
In this course the student is supervised in the planning and delivery of class teaching sessions in Portuguese as a second Language within the framework of specific curricula. Students will prepare and present lesson plans, class activities and procedures to the instructor and fellow students, and receive critical evaluations of their performances.
Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: Plan, prepare and develop class activities successfully.
CILO-2: Recognize the importance of different pedagogical tools (textbooks; new technologies in language teaching; preparation of teaching materials).
CILO-3: Perceive the importance of Language evaluation and the differences on evaluating different language skills (oral and written comprehension and production).
CILO-4: Realize the importance and be able to plan a class.
