A discipline that is designed to develop Advanced Specialized Professional Level Proficiency in foreign language speakers of Portuguese who have attained advanced general proficiency. The course is for persons who require a very high degree of linguistic accuracy for professional purposes. It is designed to develop an acute awareness of self-evaluation and critique in order to identify and resolve diverse types of performance inaccuracy in both the spoken and written languages.
Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: Students can write texts using the technics of writing in different contexts (creative writing and others).
CILO-2: Students can write essays about relevant topics.
CILO-3: Students in Literary and Cultural Studies Specialization can read texts using the technics of effective reading in different contexts; Students in Applied Linguistics specialization can prepare essays about relevant topics.
