This course trains the student in written translation from Chinese to Portuguese, with emphasis in the areas of business, legal writing, socio-political affairs, science and technology.

CILO-1: Use the main terminologies and strategies of translation. CILO-2: Adapt to the typographic conventions in the target language (Portuguese). CILO-3: Recognize the most common types of translation. CILO-4: Identify cultural, historical, stylistic and linguistic aspects that meet critically analyse and evaluate translations. CILO-5: Translate texts of medium and greater complexity.
