This course trains the student in written translation from Portuguese to Chinese, with emphasis in the areas of business, legal writing, socio-political affairs, science and technology.

CILO-1: Use the main methods and techniques of translation. CILO-2: Analyse the translated texts critically. CILO-3: Translate texts of medium complexity. CILO-4: Identify cultural, historical, stylistic and linguistic aspects that meet the needs of translating texts of different genres. CILO-5: Choose the most appropriate methods and techniques for different contexts.
