An advanced course in the writing of academic or administrative texts for professional purposes. The course provides training in the planning, structure and composition of texts of an academic nature.
Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: Discuss notions of textuality: pragmatic and discoursive aspects of written texts.
CILO-2: Elaborate academic forms of writing in Portuguese: academic reports and reviews.
CILO-3: Plan and prepare a short research proposal to be developed in the following semester.
CILO-4: Discuss about the role of language studies and related areas in the current society.
