The course is designed to develop further the aims of Advanced Oral Comprehension and Production Skill I. Use of real-life audio and video texts in different varieties of Portuguese, focusing on areas of current affairs, diplomacy, legal language, and business. Students will transcribe, comment on audio and video documents, and produce texts through simulation activities and task performance.

CILO-1: Interpret and identify general and specific information on different oral text genres. CILO-2: Produce oral texts on a wide range of topics. CILO-3: Produce complex, accurate, fluent and lexically diverse speech, adequate for different types of communication situations and text genres. CILO-4: Organise ideas and opinions and/ or describe events freely, without textual support. CILO-5: Identify traits of the Portuguese language and culture of the Portuguese-speaking communities.
