A practical course in which students are trained in writing official, administrative and formal texts considering Macao socio‐cultural context and the differences among the varieties of the Portuguese language concerning the linguistic and cultural diversity.

CILO-1: Identify, characterise and produce texts of different textual typology (description, narration and argumentation). CILO-2: Prepare officials, administrative and formal texts considering Macao's socio‐cultural context. CILO-3: Use adequately the argumentative operators of the Portuguese language. CILO-4: Use properly established professional language structures (greetings, salutations, acronyms and abbreviations) and Portuguese typographic rules. CILO-5: Choose the linguistic formality suitable for writing professional letters and emails of medium and high complexity according to the sender and addressee information.
