This course will focus on a comprehensive review of structures previously taught in the last three semesters, and the introduction and reinforcement of new structures. Students will engage in essay writing on various topics and practice summarisation and abstract writing techniques.

CILO-1: Analyse and interpret texts related to the field and interests, extracting key information and synthesising it into written summaries. CILO-2: Analyse and create a variety of texts, including persuasive essays, informative articles, and creative narratives, utilising appropriate language and structure for each genre. CILO-3: Utilise cross-cultural analysis to identify and compare social realities from diverse cultures and produce written pieces that critically examine and differentiate them. CILO-4: Analyse various sources to identify and classify Portuguese-speaking nations and regions’ cultural aspects, including art, music, and cuisine of Portuguese-speaking nations and regions. Elaborate descriptive written works examining each aspect’s distinctive features and cultural importance.
