The aim of this course is to further develop oral skills in Portuguese through listening and production tasks from the preceding lower intermediate proficiency level to an intermediary level.

CILO-1: Identify clear standard oral input provided by the teacher and other speakers. CILO-2: Interpret and summarise authentic oral texts produced by native Portuguese speakers from different varieties. CILO-3: Interpret and interact appropriately in oral communicative situations of different language registers and topics. CILO-4: Formulate sustained oral monologues and dialogues. CILO-5: Create oral interactions to express and defend opinions, plans, hopes, and expectations in a fluent, clear and structured manner.
