The aim of this course is the development of the programme introduced in Portuguese Language I, II and III. The students will be asked to perform tasks to develop their written and spoken skills, both productive and receptive. At the end of the semester the students shall reach the elementary prociency level.

CILO-1: Communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters. CILO-2: Describe in simple terms aspects of his/her background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate need. CILO-3: Read short simple texts; write short notes and simple messages. CILO-4: Talk about past events.
