Course Description
This course intends to enhance student’s structural knowledge of the language and to develop basic language skills related to linguistic expression and comprehension. The course is designed in order to improve reading, writing and oral competences, from a communicative standpoint while encompassing grammatical competence as well, in an integral linguistic approach.
Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: Use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type.
CILO-2: Introduce themselves and to engage in simple interaction, being able to request and provide personal information.
CILO-3: Understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance.
CILO-4: Communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters.
CILO-5: Describe in simple terms aspects of their background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate basic need.
