This course aims to develop oral skills in Portuguese through dialogues and other role play activities. The students should reach the elementary proficiency level at the end of the course.

CILO-1: Interpret dialogues and monologues in both formal and informal settings on a range of everyday topics. CILO-2: Perform simple and routine tasks requiring an exchange of information on familiar and routine matters. CILO-3: Explain in simple terms ideas, points of view, and aspects of everyday life concerning areas of immediate need. CILO-4: Describe events and personal experiences in the past. CILO-5: Produce words and sentences in a clear way.
