Course Description
Comparative philosophy engages selected philosophical topics and problems in dialogue from across cultural, linguistic, and religious streams. The aim of the course is to help students to understand important ideas, theories and issues of the life from a philosophical and comparative perspective.
Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: Recognize key texts, concepts, theories and methodologies in comparative philosophy.
CILO-2: Identify important philosophical ideas, theories and issues within different philosophical and cultural contexts.
CILO-3: Address critically contemporary problems and debates on cultural, social, political, and ethical issues in speech and in writing from a cross-cultural perspective.
