Course Description
This course provides the students with an overview of the important basic concepts, arguments, and positions in epistemology and metaphysics, as these concern the fundamental structure of reality and our knowledge of it. The course will focus on topics and themes that have been important with recent philosophical debates.
Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: Engage with some of the main concepts, positions, and arguments in epistemology and metaphysics.
CILO-2: Independently assess and discuss fundamental arguments and topics within epistemology and metaphysics.
CILO-3: Develop a personal, yet well grounded, philosophical view about various philosophical topics.
CILO-4: Apply argumentative skills in different contexts.
