Course Description
The course serves as the second part of doctoral seminar in strategic management. Upon the completion of this course, students will be able to develop a comprehensive understanding about contemporary topics in strategy for guiding their doctoral research. The course is organized around different thematic issues, including innovation, organizational learning, strategic corporate social responsibility, internationalization, emerging market strategy, nonmarket strategy, strategic alliance, competitive dynamics and others.
Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: Articulate foundational theories in strategic management research and their major arguments, rationality and perspectives.
CILO-2: Conduct literature summary and review on major research streams and topics in strategicmanagement research.
CILO-3: Devise theoretical and empirical studies using the theories and methodology acquired in this course.
