Course Description
This course aims to develop within students the capacity to understand the complexity of managing people. Participants of this course will carry out an in-depth investigation into such topics as recruitment, compensation, and training. The course will also introduce participants to current debates within human resource management.
Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: Describe in writing or verbally their reflection on their professional experience with respect to human resource management, with the aid of relevant theories.
CILO-2: Identify and analyze problems in the field of HRM and be able to provide innovative solutions.
CILO-3: Produce a coherent written statement and oral presentation of the analysis of a complex HR issue.
CILO-4: Identify the ethical issues in HR practices and the management of people in the workplace.
CILO-5: Identify and appreciate the significance of ethical issues in HR practices and the management of people in the workplace.
