Course Description
This course introduces students to theories and practice of international trade, and the managerial decisions to export and import. Students also study the process of trading activities, analyse the roles of economic agents involved in international trade, and examine related human resource and legal frameworks.
Intended Learning Outcomes
Students will acquire the set of abilities covering the entire process of international trading, ranging from the initial decision on exporting, world’s trading framework like WTO, market selection, market entry, market research, forces in foreign markets, partner selection, product development, terms of trade, terms of payments, order management to the final stage of logistic management.
