This is an introductory course regarding the nature and environment of business and its role in the society. It also provides an overview of the concepts related to basic functions of management.

CILO-1: Explain clearly the concepts related to the principles of managing formal organizations. CILO-2: Identify the various challenges faced by managers in planning, organizing, leading and controlling. CILO-3: Demonstrate the management concepts and frameworks through examining behaviours of organizations and individuals.
