Under the supervision of a faculty member, a student will carry out a focus study of a research topic in statistics or do some case studies based on collected data sets. The students are required to submit a report and give a presentation of the study for assessment.

CILO-1: Use statistical theory to aquire useful methods for variate types of data. CILO-2: Use statistical packages in software to analyze real datasets. CILO-3: Effectively communicate by presenting and explaining in the theory of statistical, using appropriate terminology and visual aids in both written and oral formats.
