The topics of this course include inner and outer products, sensitivity and conditioning, matrix and vector norms, LU factorization, QR factorization, singular value decomposition, least squares problems, direct sums and orthogonal subspaces.

CILO-1: Be able to calculate LU factorization, QR factorization, and SVD. CILO-2: Understand products, norms, and condition of matrix. CILO-3: Be able to solve the least square problem. CILO-4: To be familiar to direct sums and orthogonal subspaces.
