This is an elementary mathematics course for science & engineering students. The goal of this course is to reinforce students’ knowledge in elementary mathematics which is needed in calculus. Offered students with their mathematic subject scores below a specific score decided by the Faculty are required to take and complete this course in the Summer Term before admission. If a student cannot pass the test, he/she can redo the test during the first semester after admission.

CILO-1: Demonstrate their proficiency in algebraic skills. CILO-2: Solve the fundamental problems in coordinate geometry, trigonometry and algebra. CILO-3: Reinforce the knowledge in elementary mathematics which is needed in calculus.
