Course Description
This course explores the legal frameworks governing transnational interactions and relationships across regions, with a focus on Macau's position within the global legal landscape. Students delve into the principles, institutions, and challenges of interregional law, examining areas such as international trade, human rights, and diplomatic relations. Through case studies and comparative analysis, students gain insights into the complexities of navigating legal issues spanning multiple jurisdictions, equipping them with essential knowledge for engaging in legal practice and policymaking in a globalized world.
Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: Students will be able to analyze and explain the fundamental principles and concepts of interregional law, including its role in governing transnational interactions and relationships across regions, with a focus on Macau's position within the global legal landscape.
CILO-2: Students will be able to discuss and evaluate the institutions and mechanisms of interregional law, including international organizations and regional bodies, and assess their roles in fostering cooperation and resolving disputes among regions.
