These subjects require the basic knowledge of English language, as well as of legal issues. The main objective is to learn how to express some fundamental Civil Law notions in English, as well as to understand some Common Law key concepts.

CILO-1: Students will be able to familiarize themselves with the basic vocabulary and language used in English legal contexts at a novice level. CILO-2: Students will be able to deepen their conception and knowledge about Common Law legal systems. CILO-3: Students will be able to grip and differentiate the branches and sources of English law.
