The main objective of these courses is to provide the basic skills on Putonghua, both spoken and written. Chinese Culture shall also be part of the programme.
Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: Students will be able to speak Hanyu with a basic working proficiency.
CILO-2: Students will be able to possess fundamental knowledge and utilize basic vocabulary and elementary structures of Hanyu language and culture.
CILO-3: Students will be able to interpret words and expressions pertaining to specific concrete situations and employ basic Hanyu structures to communicate.
