These subjects require the knowledge of both languages, Chinese and Portuguese. The main objective is to provide the students with the basic techniques used in any translation. Students shall then practice such methods by translating, texts and oral speeches and dialogues, from Chinese into Portuguese and vice-versa.

CILO-1: Students will be able to enhance and refine their pronunciation in both Chinese and Portuguese languages. CILO-2: Students will be able to provide detailed explanations and accurately use a broad range of legal terms in both Chinese and Portuguese at an elementary level. CILO-3: Students will be able to employ different language choices and adaptations when translating for diverse audiences, as deemed appropriate for each situation.
