This course is the continuation of Advanced Practical Japanese I and emphasizes oral and written communication skills. Students will be provided different tasks focused on practical daily communication in order to help build confidence in speaking and writing Japanese.

CILO-1: Students will be able to understand enough to follow extended speech on abstract and complex topics beyond their own field. CILO-2: Students will be able to follow films employing a considerable degree of slang and idiomatic usage. CILO-3: Students will be able to give clear, smoothly flowing, elaborate and often memorable descriptions. CILO-4: Students will be able to compose clear, smoothly flowing, complex texts in an appropriate and effective style and a logical structure.
