Course Description
Special courses on various topics to be developed by current faculty and visiting scholars. The course is designed to cover one topic from the areas of humanities taught in Japanese language, including literature, language studies and methodology, philosophy, behaviour science, communication, journalism, history, culture, law and political economy etc.
Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: Students will be able to comprehend academic writings in Japanese regarding one topic from the areas of humanities.
CILO-2: Students will be able to analyse and develop complex ideas and concepts regarding one topic from the areas of humanities.
CILO-3: Students will be able to express their understanding regarding one topic from the areas of humanities in the form of oral presentation in Japanese language.
CILO-4: Students will be able to build up a large vocabulary by reading reference books and scholarly papers.
