Course Description
This course is the continuation of Intermediate Japanese I. It also covers reading and writing skills and provides cultural information about Japan. At the end of this course, students can conduct daily conversation at intermediate level with more advanced vocabulary and syntax.
Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: Have the knowledge of about 2300 selected vocabulary.
CILO-2: Identify key words and sentences and get the gist of listening exercises on familiar topics presented by inauthentic materials on CD.
CILO-3: Write short compositions using the learned vocabulary and structures on simple topics.
CILO-4: Demonstrate comprehension of longer paragraphs and narratives through authentic materials.
CILO-5: Communicate with classmates and the teacher in everyday life situations and express one’s opinions about familiar and unfamiliar topics.
