Special courses on various topics to be developed by current faculty and visiting scholars. The course is designed to cover one topic from the areas concerning Japan, including Japanese language, literature, history, culture, philosophy, behaviour, communication, journalism, economics, legal systems, political sciences, etc.

CILO-1: Students will be able to develop overall skills in Japanese language. CILO-2: Students will be able to define and explain key concepts taught in this course. CILO-3: Students will be able to apply the key concepts in classroom discussion, oral presentation and/or other assessments. CILO-4: Students will be able to demonstrate critical thinking skills through coursework.
