Course Description
This is the continuation of Japanese Research Method I. This course develops academic Japanese language skills through a series of lectures on basic research methodology and the analysis of research papers on topics relevant to contemporary Japanese society and culture. By the end of the course, students will be able to write research proposals and academic-level papers in Japanese.
Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: Students will able to master and utilize key methods for researching issues related to Japanese society and culture.
CILO-2: Students will be able to apply basic research methods to work on research tasks.
CILO-3: Students will be able to think critically and present their opinions in a logical way.
CILO-4: Students will be able to learn how to learn from each other, work collaboratively and play to their strengths in a group setting.
