Course Description
This is the continuation of Practical Japanese III and provides training in the comprehension and the expression of conversational Japanese. The objective of this course is to improve Japanese communication skills in order to appropriately express one's thoughts through group discussions and presentations. At the end of this course, students can exchange opinions on a wide variety of topics.
Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: Students will be able to concisely express opinions about a particular topic.
CILO-2: Students will be able to compose speech handouts in order to make presentations more clear.
CILO-3: Students will be able to provide feedbacks during discussion.
CILO-4: Students will be able to use a prepared questionnaire to carry out a structured interview, with some spontaneous follow-up questions.
