This course aims to provide instruction and intensive practice in Japanese writing skills. Students will be taught to write compositions, and then evaluate and revise their work. At the end of this course, students will be able to compose intermediate level Japanese sentences.

CILO-1: Students will be able to type Japanese language on the computer. CILO-2: Students will be able to write short messages used in e-mails in daily life. CILO-3: Students will be able to use manuscript paper in Japanese style. CILO-4: Students will be able to write short compositions using basic sentence patterns and vocabulary while paying attention to structure of paragraphs.
