Course Description
This course is the continuation of Elementary Japanese I and includes basic reading and writing. At the end of this course, Students can function in daily conversations at the basic level.
Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: Have the knowledge of about 900 selected vocabulary.
CILO-2: Write short sentences using the learned vocabulary and structures on simple topics. For example: express one’s hobby, express can or cannot and describe one’s hometown etc.
CILO-3: Scan and get the gist of simple reading materials such as simple letters and simple task questions.
CILO-4: Communicate with classmates and the teacher in basic everyday life situations using learned expressions and vocabulary. For example: count some items in Japanese with appropriate counters, order food at a restaurant, request someone to do something etc.
