This course introduces data-driven approaches to deriving business insights for tourism. The course first overviews the fundamentals and concepts associated with analytical approaches to tourism management decision-making. Then the key quantitative and analytical tools for tourism management are elaborated. This course also discusses the future development of smart tourism and tourism analytics. Students will gain hands-on experience by solving various practical problems using analytical programming.
