The course emphasizes the 10 areas of Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®) ― project integration management, project scope management, project time management, project cost management, project quality management, project resource management, project communications management, project stakeholder management, project risk management, and project procurement management. Quality standards and market trends affecting project management are introduced, such as International Organization for Standardization (ISO), Six Sigma, globalization, outsourcing, virtual teams, and agile project management.
