This course covers topics on network applications, network administration, telecommunications and issues related to computer networking for business. Students will also have the opportunity to have a hands-on approach to build a computer network. As computer networks are essential in modern business transactions, this course is required for all business students.

CILO-1: Describe fundamentals elements of network communication. CILO-2: Explain network topologies and technologies. CILO-3: Demonstrate network media and related hardware essentials. CILO-4: Discuss the importance of networking protocols and IP addressing. CILO-5: Demonstrate network security importance. CILO-6: Discuss wide area networking and cloud computing roles for modern computer networking.
