This core course provides PhD students with a topical foundation in hospitality and tourism management research. It introduces students to basic academic theories and concepts relating to hospitality and tourism management. Students will also learn more about current research in these areas. These knowledge will be critical for students to engage in future high-level hospitality and tourism research. They lay the foundation for the generation of more advanced knowledge in this field.
