Course Description
This course aims to gear students with research skills pertinent to univariate and multivariate statistic analyses. Accordingly, it will introduce students with statistical tools such as mean comparison, association analysis, and predictive analysis along with factor analysis and structural equation modeling. Research design relating to survey design, scaling and measurement, and sampling will also be introduced. Other possible topics include experimental design, handling categorical variables, and using statistical software.
Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: Explain univariate and multivariate statistical methods.
CILO-2: Apply different statistical approaches in research applications.
CILO-3: Explain measurement and sampling techniques.
CILO-4: Apply different approaches to evaluate research findings.
CILO-5: Produce research outputs by applying various quantitative methods in academic writing.
