Course Description
This course discusses different activities and decisions that retailers face everyday. Students will learn major issues related to marketing and management in retailing. After taking this course, students should be equipped with advanced knowledge of understanding and solving the challenges faced by retail stores especially in integrated resorts, managing and marketing retail operations, as well as communicating effectively with customers. As a result, communication skills will be advanced after completing this course.
Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: Analyze major issues and challenges of retail management in integrated resorts.
CILO-2: Analyze primary and secondary data in both qualitative and quantitative manners to solve issues about retail management, marketing and operations.
CILO-3: Formulate appropriate business solutions, by applying retail knowledge and skills to different business situations within the context of an integrated resort.
CILO-4: Analyze business ethical issues in retail management.
CILO-5: Effectively communicate with colleagues in integrated resorts.
